TurboWeb2 Support

A complete dialog of how TurboWeb2 Support it’s members. Email correspondence showing how this foreign company tries to communicate to the English speaking public.

The following dialog shows an email exchange after I submitted a support ticket to TurboWeb2 Support due to insufficient instructions in completing the script I attempted to build. After several failures to try and understand how the Script Builder in TurboWeb2 functions after watching and reading their tutorial and instructions I submitted a support ticket. Here is the support Marius gave in my email dialog with him.

Hi Marius,

Today I started playing around with scripts to get a better understanding of adding more web-links to your list.

After watching the video a few times I’m pretty sure I got the ideal of how to insert a new script so that it allows me to install more web links.

But I’m not sure if the script runs correctly because I don’t get the feed back I anticipated.
In TW version 1 the script software gave the user a warm and fuzzy feeling that the script was completed correctly because it showed a pop up of the website the script is writing to and the website result. In the tutorial, it clearly shows the next page of the website where it tells the user it’s completed and successful.

In TW version 2, I don’t see the website page pop up to give me that warm and fuzzy feeling that the website is completed correctly. See screen dump Turbo_Script_3

If in fact this script was completed correctly for the first page, how would I complete the script writing since it has a second page that needs to be filled out in order for the website registration to be completed?

TurboWeb2 SupportHi,

If you check in the title bar, it’s says: Turbo Script Builder [Select Element]. When you have the “magic wand” activated and it says [Select Element], you can’t click the start button. So, I guess this was your issue, if I understood correctly.  We should make something about this, not to happen anymore.

You will know when it works, because you have the log in lower left corner.

No, I don’t think you understand at all Marius. Please look at the screen dumps! You’ll see that the script was running to check it’s set-up!!!! The start button worked fine.
“You will know when it works, because you have the log in lower left corner.” did you look at the screen dumps????????? Do they not show a log???????????

Than read my email again so you understand the question.

Thank you

TurboWeb2 SupportDoes english is your first language? I tried to understand, but could not understand exactly what you tried to explain. Please try to explain better, what was the issues, what you tried to do and what didn’t happened.

I know the script builder very well. When “Select Element” is chhecked, the script will not run like it should (will not start, or you will get no log in the last box (lower, left).

Don’t know what is with the popup of the website. If you are referring to the big window log that display when you run a script in the application with “visible+pause” mode, that log will be found where I told you.

When you make a script, you do exactly like you will do normally. If you have more pages to fill, you fill first page, then click the button to submit, then another window is opened, you fill that also, then click the submit button.

All templates are free to open and edit. That is a great info to start. IF you have issues, just give the the code you created and I will fix it for you.

There definitely is a communication breakdown Marius. If you would have stated don’t use the “Select Element Wand” it doesn’t work/function as it should, I could have moved on to the next issue.

When I didn’t select the ” Select Element Wand” I could see the website I was writing the script too was functioning in the large window. It went through the steps and completed the first page just as I expected it to. And the second page popped-up. Excellent, right?

Now the second page is ready to continue with writing the script.
HOWEVER! It is impossible to input any information. The script no longer functions as it did. I couldn’t understand why! See screen dump Turbo_Script_4
This dialog box only shows up on the right side where the script is being written. It doesn’t show-up on the left side where the website is shown.

When you do select “Set Element Value” all the dialog box values are empty. – See screen dump Turbo_Script_5

I can go on and on about other issues with script builder, but whats the point. This piece of software isn’t even close to ship acceptance.

You need to revisit the script builder and rewrite it Marius. Because the only reason why my script’s first page worked at all is because I copied and pasted it in. Otherwise, the user can’t even start a script. It just doesn’t work!

Sorry buddy. Was hoping to utilizing this option, but can’t spend the amount of time trouble shooting it for you. Please let me know when you’ve rewritten it and it functions correctly.
End of the first day of TuboWeb2 Support for their Script Builder option. Come back tomorrow to see what happens next from the TurboWare Support Team otherwise known as Marius Primaru.
